This class invites you to reconnect with your own inner strength, yourself as a resource. Drawing inspiration from yoga’s history as a practice of resistance and self-governance, we’ll explore how breath, movement, and meditation can help us reclaim autonomy over our bodies and minds. Just as yoga has supported leaders and activists in finding calm amidst struggle, it can also ground us in resilience, clarity, and empowerment today.
Through gentle yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation, we will cultivate an embodied sense of safety and power that no external force can take away. Together, we’ll remember that each breath, each choice to be present, is an act of reclaiming our agency.
Our time together will include a guided check-in, psychoeducation, practice and closing reflection. This class is for BIPOC participants only, offering a space of healing, empowerment, and connection.
